Scotties back to School

As you might have seen on my social media pages I did a golf taster session at Llanwern High School last Thursday. This included giving the children a go at golf and meeting the new faces who will be attending Llanwern next year. The day consisted of a few schools (Ringland, Milton, Alway, Somerton and Eveswell) all heading to Llanwern High in their transition day to meet next year’s new teachers and of course to have fun by taking part in the sports on offer.

Luckily for myself, Wales Golf gave me a helping hand letting me use the inflatable golf net so the children can have a full swing as what they described as ‘LETS WHACKKKKKKKKKKKK SOME GOLF BALLS’. It was a great day to be involved in and fingers crossed let’s hope this link will help increase our Junior Membership numbers.
