Scotty gets hands on with the new PING G410's
PING are one of the best companies that we deal with so I was quite excited about their latest release. On initial inspection it is definitely more appealing visually than the popular G400 iron. After hitting only a handful of balls I found this club really easy to hit with it offering both excellent distance and accuracy despite being a little bit smaller than the G400 iron. It is definitely a very user friendly iron which raises levels for off centre hit forgiveness without sacrificing speed. PING who without a doubt are always top in winning independent reviews and are consistently voted as the number selling golf iron and drivers so how do they improve year on year? Right, here is the technical bit!
This year the iron has been modified with removing the CTP (Custom Tuning Port) this was there to manage the sound and feel and now this is now done by a Co-Molded Cavity Badge. This is made from Aluminium and an elastomer called Santoprene to modify vibrations. |
