Jack & Owen Competing in Portugal

Last week Jack Davidson and Owen Edwards were off competing again this time in Portugal, in the Portuguese Amateur. Both played well within what was a tough field, Jack made the top 40 cut with scores of 71, 75 & 74 and shot an impressive 66 in the final round finishing inside the top 10. He was the 2nd best Welsh finisher of the week as well. 

Well done both, great starts to 2017 already and I'm sure it will continue and only get better!

The PING Glide 2.0 Review

This week our very own Andrew Pugh tried out the PING Glide 2.0 wedges during a custom fit session with Scottie. 

Here's what he had to say after the fit:

“After a warm up and hitting some shots with my 9 iron and wedge Scottie established my average distance with them I then started hitting balls with the Ping Glide 2.0. We then decided (or should I say Scottie!!) that I should select the 52, 56 & 60 degree lofts with standard sole. During the session I was grateful that Scottie also pointed out I had slipped into a couple of bad habits. 

After taking his advice my accuracy improved along with some additional distance.”  

The PING Glide 2.0 Wedges have some new key features such as:
- Precision milled grooves to increase spin rates. 
- Steeper side walls for improved performance.
- Hydropearl chrome finish repels water for more control and improved spin consistency.
