Junior Coaching
Junior Coaching has started back up in 2017 on Saturday mornings from 9am - 10am.
At the minute it is on a roll up basis and is only £4 per week. The sessions are based around skill acquisition through fun games and challenges. For more information please call in the shop or ring us on 01633 413142.
Safety First
Last week myself, Rhiannon, the clubhouse team and the Green staff team successfully completed the Emergency First Aid At Work course in accordance with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations, 1981.
This ensures our staff are now trained to provide the members and visitors to Llanwern GC with First Aid in the event of an incident.
(Hopefully not too many though!!!)

'I would like to thank all those members who attended Monday's EGM.
Your opinions are valued and it was good to have such a large turnout. I would also like to thank those who voted by proxy.
The result is that the motion to move to a management structure of five directors was carried. New articles of association will be in place and the old committee structure abolished.
On behalf of the directors I would thank you for your support and look forward to the challenge ahead of us to further improve what is already a great club.'

We have been lucky enough to receive some more positive feedback this week, this time from Llanwern member Graham Lewis. He kindly sent us this email below.
'Hi Steve, Scotty & Rhi,
I would very much like to thank you for all the help I have received. Firstly with the club selection and custom fit of the new Titliest AP1s, they are Fabulous. The lesson was also very helpful and has already paid dividends (funny how a lesson can turn the light on).
Also Scotties wedge fit was very informative and helpful. Hopefullywe have now filled in a few distance gaps that were there before. The whole experience was very enjoyable and I would thoroughly recommend all members to have a refresher every so often, it will definetly show benefits as we all hang on to the bad habits far too long.
The facilities we now have at Llanwern are second to none and all members should take full advantage.'
